In fact, RED Stamp came in at an astounding #30 for manufacturing companies in the nation.
In 2009, RED Stamp President, Bruce DeBoer was recognized for his work by the State of Michigan, and honored in Washington D.C.
Since 1998, RED Stamp Inc. has grown from a focus on cigarette tax stamping, to a complete line of automated material handling solutions. Our primary customers are those ‘pick and pack’ operations within the Grocery, Apparel, Footwear, Beverage, C-Store, E-Commerce and Pharmaceutical Industries.
Bruce DeBoer, President of RED Stamp began working in the industry at a wholesale grocery supplier, learning everything there is to know about the warehouse distribution process, it’s customers and tax stamping machines. While working for the grocery supplier, one of Bruce’s responsibilities was to help maintain the tax stamping machines. While he did, he envisioned a way to improve the process of cigarette tax stamping. He believed the process was outdated and inefficient. At the time, there was only one known company in the United States involved in cigarette tax stamping, and that company’s process involved technology from the early 1950′s.
So, on October 14th, 1998 RED Stamp was born. During the next two years, research and development were fully under way in order to find more efficient solutions to stamping agents nation wide. One of the first thing RED Stamp did was incorporate computer technology into the process and bring the stampers overall design into the 21st Century. Due to the success of the research and engineering: We had improved the stamping process dramatically by producing a cleaner stamp transfer, dramatically reducing product damage and improved the speed and efficiency to the overall work station cutting manpowered needed in half. As a result, in 2004, RED Stamp applied for and was awarded a patent for the CSU-120 Single Head Cigarette Tax Stamping Unit.
In 2000, Bruce left his full-time job of 12 years to devote full attention and time to building RED Stamp. Due to his extensive knowledge of the industry, hard work, commitment and innovation - today the organization has expanded to include a full line of cigarette tax stamping units and systems, to a complete line of automated material handling solutions.
